I am a writer who works primarily in short form content with a focus on character interactions and making sense of the worlds that permit them. While I don’t write toward any specific genre per say, everything I’ve written carries some measure of fantasy.
I am most inspired by the vast library of fairy tales and given increasing pieces of information, enjoy filling the gaps between and forging links to achieve a cohesive whole.
I aim to be consistent, coherent, and compelling with any of my works.
Published:
- Here I Kyth (3,513 words; published by Campfire in Story Seeds: An Anthology) – A hermit long content to solitude. A warrior grasping all of life’s full splendors. A power seeking a proper home to roost.
- Embers of Ambition (2,253 words; published in the Vol. 20, 2022 issue of The Windward Review under First Serial Rights and Electronic Rights; page 28) – A young woman moves into a new home, but the appearance of a Monkey’s Paw has her pondering temptation against the unfulfilling trappings of modern life.
Posted:
- The Maidens Stolen Away (797 words) – Inspired by “The Maiden Stolen Away”. It involves a maiden, a tower, and a necessary obligation to all the selves.
- The Tale of Kaguya-hime (3,654 words) – Inspired by “The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter”. The greatest mistake of the Lunar Capital was affording Kaguya another opportunity at rebellion.
